Nagori is made in India and named in Japanese. 名残 means the trace something leaves when it goes — the last of a season, the air a person leaves in a room. We compose for that moment instead of the first impression. The house is in Delhi. The materials come from wherever they are best.

Five editions, each built on one material with a stated origin and held six to ten weeks before bottling. Every object carries an archive number, and the number is assigned once and never reused. It outlives the name.

The perfumer trained between Grasse and Mumbai and works in-house. Nothing is outsourced and no formula is bought in. Where a synthetic would do the job we say so; where we paid for the natural instead, the record says what it cost in weeks and the price says the rest.
